Description
The County seeks medical physics services for radiation-producing equipment at its medical center, clinics, correctional facility, and navigation center. Work includes equipment testing and reporting, with written performance reports due within 15 days of each survey; radiation safety training for employees; and consultation on shielding design, documentation, acceptance testing, and dose estimates. The contractor will also support new equipment installations and ACR accreditation testing for CT and mammography equipment, and provide concise reports. Proposers must demonstrate board certification in diagnostic medical physics, hospital experience including dental, and modality-specific competency. The proposal requires a technical response addressing qualifications, approach, schedule, innovations, performance measures, firm and team qualifications, and references, plus a separate fee proposal. The agreement term is five years.
