Description
This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information for a potential hybrid fixed-price and time-and-materials services purchase order, not a request for proposals or quotes. The agency is conducting market research and requests information about interested vendors’ capabilities, business size and socioeconomic status, subcontracting estimates, intent to quote if an RFQ is issued, and relevant projects completed within the past five years. Responses may use the attached MS Forms response form or be sent by email. The anticipated work covers inspection and preventive maintenance, calibration, standardization, and certification of a broad inventory of materials-testing and laboratory equipment, with out-of-cycle diagnostics and authorized repairs as needed. The contractor would provide personnel, tools, reference standards, software, test equipment, transportation, and replacement parts; maintain ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation; and provide traceable calibration results and required service documentation. The draft performance work statement specifies a 12-month base period and four 12-month options.
