Description
Maricopa County seeks one or more qualified consultants for on-call construction materials testing and special inspection services. Work may include field sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, masonry, and steel; laboratory testing; roof core sampling; nondestructive testing; batch plant inspection; and special inspections of structural steel, welding, bolting, reinforced concrete, masonry, post-installed anchors, and fire-resistive materials. Related work includes technical consultation, test and inspection reports, documentation, and certifications. Respondents must identify the expertise they offer, provide firm and personnel qualifications and relevant project experience, and submit references and a completed fee schedule. The draft contract states a two-year initial term with up to four additional one-year renewals. The solicitation anticipates multiple awards and requires an Arizona office and a business facility within 50 miles of 401 W. Jefferson Street, Phoenix. The draft contract also requires insurance, including general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation/employer’s liability, and professional liability; certificates of insurance are required before contract award.
