Description
The City seeks a qualified consultant team to conduct detailed, primarily visual, non-destructive condition assessments of 65 facilities totaling approximately 84,000 square feet. The work includes on-site inspection of architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire and life-safety, and other building systems; inventorying maintainable equipment; documenting deficiencies and recommended repairs or replacements; and identifying urgent conditions. The consultant must include a professional cost estimator with relevant experience and current local knowledge of material and labor costs. Deliverables include facility-specific assessment reports, equipment data in spreadsheet files for the City's maintenance system, photographs, deficiency and lifecycle cost analyses, facility condition indices, multi-year expenditure forecasts, a citywide summary report, a presentation to the City's Executive Team, and a strategic plan to guide facility funding decisions. The proposal must include a proposed scope and schedule, billing rates and total not-to-exceed cost, qualifications and relevant project experience, proposed personnel, and the requested agreement and conflict-of-interest information.
