Description
Alameda County Behavioral Health Department seeks qualified providers for a pool of Services as Needed contracts to deliver mid-to-high-intensity, group-based mental health day rehabilitation to youth ages 6–21. Services are intended to improve, maintain, or restore functioning and independence, and may include assessment, plan development, therapy, rehabilitation, and collateral activities. Programs may operate as full-day or half-day services and must provide services for three to 24 hours on each day they are open. The target population is county residents eligible for full-scope Medi-Cal who meet the criteria for Specialty Mental Health Services and day rehabilitation. Providers must demonstrate at least three years of experience serving the priority population and at least two years of experience billing Medi-Cal for Specialty Mental Health Services through a county within the last three years. Clinical services may not be subcontracted. The response packet requires a completed staff list and schedule, service rates with justification when rates exceed Department of Health Care Services rates, responses addressing minimum qualifications and program requirements, and specified bidder forms and attestations. The response is limited to three pages, excluding attachments and exhibits. Reimbursement is based on current state rates of $387.66 for a full day and $258.44 for a half day; the County guarantees no minimum or maximum contract amount.
