Description
The Alameda County Water District seeks professional engineering consulting services to support decommissioning and demolition of the Mission San Jose treated-water tank while maintaining onsite potable and non-potable water functions. The work includes evaluating and designing a smaller potable-water tank and connections, modifying building HVAC and management systems, providing non-potable fire-suppression water, upgrading a regulator, integrating controls with SCADA, assessing materials for hazardous-waste disposal, and supporting environmental review. The project must account for continued facility operations and minimize water-service interruptions. The proposal must include a technical proposal and a separate cost proposal, each submitted as its own PDF file. The scope includes initial investigation and basis-of-design work, with additional design, bidding, construction, commissioning, and related services identified as optional tasks. The RFP requests three to six relevant project references from the past six years.
