Description
The California State Lottery is soliciting qualifications from California-licensed architecture and engineering firms to provide a full range of on-call services for capital improvements across 12 active office, warehouse, distribution, and related facilities. Services will be issued through negotiated task orders on an as-needed basis and may include existing-condition assessments, programming, space planning, conceptual and construction drawings, specifications, permitting, cost estimating, value engineering, constructability reviews, construction administration, submittal and change-order review, closeout, commissioning, and as-built documentation. Work may involve occupied facilities where operations must continue with minimal disruption, and may use design-bid-build, integrated project delivery, design-build, or other delivery methods. Responders must be legal business entities with at least seven years of comparable A&E experience, California architectural licensure within the project team, and LEED-certified personnel and project experience. Joint ventures and joint SOQs are not allowed; one prime contractor may use subcontractors. The contract is for five years, with two optional one-year extensions, and has no guaranteed amount of work or compensation. Required response materials include the transmittal letter, checklist, cost sheet, certification, applicable participation forms, Payee Data Record, Statement of Qualifications, project/reference information, and a conditional GenAI Impact Assessment Form.
