Description
Poudre School District is soliciting bids for Colorado-grown hydroponic fresh produce for the October 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, delivery period. The requested products include multiple lettuce varieties, cabbage, cilantro, kale, romaine hearts, salad mix, spinach, and Sweet Gem lettuce, with specified grades, package sizes, estimated quantities, and quality standards. Individual bags must be stamped with a use-by date, and all produce must be grown within Colorado. The awarded supplier must deliver to the District's Child Nutrition Warehouse, maintain an office and distribution center within 90 miles of Fort Collins, and meet recurring delivery, traceability, replacement, ordering, invoicing, customer-service, and fill-rate requirements. The response must include pricing using the unaltered cost proposal worksheet, an approved HACCP and recall procedures plan, mandatory references, and the required bid certification. Insurance requirements include commercial general liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation coverage.
