Description
Larimer County is seeking one vendor to supply and deliver a 15% salt/sand aggregate mixture on an as-needed basis during a one-year contract, with up to four additional one-year renewals. Estimated initial requirements are approximately 1,000 tons each for the Livermore and Estes Park shops and 100 tons for Big Elk Meadows; quantities are estimates only and do not guarantee purchases. Delivered pricing must include handling, delivery, and fuel surcharges, and prices may not increase during the contract term. The material must meet specified sand-gradation requirements and Colorado Department of Health Regulation 16 aggregate specifications, remain free-flowing and free of lumps or clods, and be delivered by dump truck or end-dump trailer; belly-dump trailers are not accepted. Bidders must provide testing and material certification reports, complete the County bid form, document at least three years in business, and separately quote pickup pricing, pickup location(s), and available hours if County personnel must obtain material from the vendor. Deliveries must occur during Monday-through-Thursday road and bridge operating hours.
