Description
The City of Fontana is soliciting electronic bids from qualified contractors to provide city-wide glass repair, replacement, and related facility services for City-owned buildings and public facilities. The scope includes commercial storefronts, entryways, partitions, facility glass materials, window film, and related repairs. Contractors must furnish all labor, installation, materials, equipment, transportation, cleanup, and taxes. Additional services may include window tinting and commercial shade or blind installation. The contract is for an initial two-year period with up to three additional one-year renewals, for a potential five-year term. Prevailing wage requirements apply. Bidders must hold the required California contractor's license and provide pricing for specified glass and film items. All supplied parts must be new, substitutions require City approval, and parts and labor carry a minimum 90-day warranty. Required bid forms and supporting documents must be completed and submitted electronically through the City's bidding system.
