ORANGE COUNTY NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids for providing RFB-OC147-26 Provide and Install Window Treatments at Valley View to the County of Orange will be received at PO Box 218, 255-275 Main St., Goshen, New York 10924, until 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, when the same will be publicly opened and read. Description
Orange County is soliciting bids for a two-year contract to provide and install new window treatments at the Valley View Center for Nursing Care and Rehabilitation, with two potential one-year renewal terms. The work includes furnishing materials, labor, tools, equipment, supervision, measurement and verification of window openings, installation, cleaning, documentation, and warranty support. Window treatments must meet specified healthcare, privacy, infection-control, flame-resistance, labeling, and low-emission requirements, including applicable GREENGUARD Gold, UL 991, NFPA 701, ASTM E84, and NFPA 101 standards. Bidders must provide product documentation and a brochure or catalog of available hard window-treatment options. The bid package must include the completed Bid Form, pricing, client references, product brochure or catalog, New York Department of Labor registration proof, required certifications and disclosures, applicable business-entity documentation, 10% bid security, manufacturers’ warranties, and other materials requested by the specifications. The contract is anticipated to run for two years, with two optional one-year renewals. Prevailing-wage requirements apply, and the awarded vendor must provide required insurance before contract execution.
