Description
The City of Tampa is soliciting sealed physical bids for Contract 26-C-00038, covering improvements at the Curiosity Creek and Donut Pond stormwater pump stations. The scope includes structural and miscellaneous site work supporting new fuel tanks; concrete foundations, slabs, and related work; electrical equipment and automatic transfer switches; power monitoring; instrumentation and controls; fiber and cellular communications; backup control systems; PLC programming modifications; security cameras and cellular modem equipment; fuel tanks, fuel monitoring, piping, and associated appurtenances; and building improvements. The work must maintain pump-station operation during construction, including temporary fuel or generator arrangements and coordinated outages. The specifications require a 210-consecutive-calendar-day completion period beginning on the date stated in the Notice to Proceed, a bid security amount of at least 5 percent of the total bid, and a 100 percent public construction bond from the successful bidder. The solicitation also requires City of Tampa SLBE outreach and related DMI-10, DMI-20, and DMI-50 forms, with a 19.6 percent SLBE subcontracting goal.
