Description
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is seeking one or more contractors to provide mortality resources and services for public-health emergencies and disasters. The scope includes secure storage, inventory management, preventive and corrective maintenance, licensing, and deployment of four state-owned 32-foot mortuary trailers and associated supplies. The contractor must provide transportation and towing capabilities, maintain equipment readiness, and deploy resources within the specified emergency timelines. The contractor must maintain at least four strike teams, each consisting of at least two licensed funeral directors and two knowledgeable non-licensed personnel. Services include mortuary technical assistance, human-remains processing, identification, transport, embalming, cremation, casketing, reburial, holding-morgue support, local-jurisdiction coordination, preparedness outreach, training, exercises, situation reporting, and after-action reporting. Responses must include the required pricing sheet, signed solicitation affirmations, bidder reference and qualifications information, and other applicable response materials.
