Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, is soliciting quotes for on-site inscription services at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, portable blasting and storage structures, safety resources, waste disposal, quality control, and related services necessary to inscribe government-furnished granite markers, marble niche covers, and upright marble headstones, including reverse inscriptions. Work includes air-blast abrasion, lithochrome application when ordered, emblem and lettering production, inspection preparation, handling of government-furnished monuments, and correction or disposal of rejected work. The procurement is a total small-business set-aside for a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. The minimum quantity is 1,000 units and the maximum quantity is 30,000 units over the contract, with a six-month base period followed by four one-year option periods. Quotes must include three PDF volumes—Company Information, Technical, and Past Performance—one Excel price schedule, and the required physical inscription samples. Technical submissions are limited to 40 pages, excluding the cover page and table of contents. Past performance must include up to five references for similar on-site inscription services performed within the past five years.
