Description
Collin County is soliciting qualifications from firms to provide as-needed Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) and building commissioning services for new and existing buildings and HVAC systems. The scope includes testing, adjusting, balancing, and documenting air-handling units, fan coil units, terminal boxes, air-distribution devices, supply and exhaust fans, pumps, coils, HVAC controls, and applicable energy-management systems. Services also include inspections, functional performance testing, commissioning coordination, operating-personnel instruction, reports, post-occupancy inspections, seasonal follow-up, and warranty-period support. Firms may submit qualifications for TAB, commissioning, or both. The County may award separate contracts for the two disciplines. TAB firms must have a Texas-licensed professional engineer, relevant firm and personnel experience, and required professional qualifications. Responses are limited to 25 printed pages, excluding specified cover and administrative materials, and must address the detailed qualifications and experience questions. The contract is structured as a one-year term with four annual renewals.
