Description
The City of Nicholasville is soliciting proposals for commercial mowing and weed-eating services at Maple Grove Cemetery. The contractor must provide commercial-grade equipment, fuel, oil, supervision, and weekly service, subject to weather and cemetery scheduling requirements. Mowing is generally permitted Monday through Friday during daylight hours, excluding burials, weekends, and holidays. The contract covers one mowing season, with three possible one-year extensions by mutual agreement. Proposers must demonstrate at least three years of commercial lawn-service experience, provide at least three references, submit relevant experience and qualifications, and provide an inventory of owned or leased equipment. The successful contractor must maintain required insurance, hold a current City of Nicholasville occupational/business license, and may not transfer or subcontract the work.
