Description
The City of Norfolk is soliciting bids for roofing repair, replacement, and moisture protection services for various city-owned buildings and structures. This is an Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract, meaning work will be assigned through individual work orders on an as-required basis. Bidders must be licensed Virginia Class 'A' Contractors and demonstrate at least five years of experience in commercial renovation, remodeling, and repair projects with an average annual aggregate of at least $250,000. Additionally, bidders must provide a list of five remodeling and renovation projects greater than $50,000 that were successfully completed within the last three years. The solicitation also references the use of R.S. Means Facilities Construction Cost Data for bidding requirements. The contract will have a base period of twelve months with two additional one-year option periods. The maximum limit per work order is $750,000, and the maximum annual contract limit is $1,000,000. Liquidated damages will apply for failure to meet completion deadlines.
