Description
This solicitation seeks contractors to perform repairs on three fire-damaged burn units located in Norfolk, Virginia. The affected properties include addresses at 906 St. Paul Street and 742 St. Paul's Blvd in the Young Terrace community, as well as units 120 and 221 at 825 Golf Street within the Hunter Square Midrise apartments. The scope of work encompasses all necessary supervision, labor, materials, and equipment for the repairs. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to, cleaning and odor control, painting, masonry, plastering, electrical and lighting work, plumbing, flooring, carpentry, and the replacement of doors, hardware, and a radiator unit. All work must adhere to the scope of work detailed by NRHA's insurance company. Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend a pre-bid meeting on Thursday, June 25th, 2026, at 10:00 AM at 825 Golf Street, Norfolk, VA, 23504, followed by a site visit to all affected units. The final date for submitting questions is July 2, 2026, at 4:00 P.M. EST, which must be done through the NRHA Bonfire Interactive Portal. Sealed bids will be received through the same portal until Thursday, July 9th, at 3:00 PM local prevailing time. A virtual bid opening will be held at 4:00 PM on July 9th, 2026; interested bidders must email rohoe@nrha.us for a link.
