Description
Headquarters Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (HQ SACT) is seeking innovative solutions for Persistent Airfield Denial as part of their Innovation Challenge 2026-2 (iChall26-2). This Request for Innovative Participation (RFIP) aims to foster collaboration on applications, tools, systems, concepts, or devices that can disrupt enemy air operations at their source. Solutions should enable autonomous or operator-directed engagement of aircraft, runways, fuel, and munitions storage, operating effectively in GPS-denied and EW-contested environments across all weather conditions. Selected finalists will be invited to a Pitch Day event, where a jury will assess the solutions and select winners. Monetary awards of up to 250,000 EU may be provided to up to three winners, contingent upon subsequent demonstration and agreement. The challenge is open to organizations headquartered in NATO nations or Ukraine, with beneficial owners also from these regions. Submissions must be releasable to the public and adhere to specific format and content requirements, including a concept paper, technical summary, preliminary cost estimate, and a video demonstration. The Technology Readiness Level (TRL) for solutions should be between 5 and 7, with an immediate Minimum Viable Product (MVP) delivery preferred within six weeks.
