Description
The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center requires 22 units of a 26-inch exhaust expansion joint pipe, specifically manufactured by American BOA Inc. (Part No. 26" FSP-0005-15 1/4 -LS -M5) for use in the main diesel engine exhaust of their 154 FRC cutters. The part must be manufactured in accordance with American BOA Inc. Drawing No. 1022585 Rev. A. Strict packaging and marking requirements are mandated, including individual packaging in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1E Method 10, preservation to prevent corrosion, and secure packing to prevent movement. The shipping box must be a skid-mounted wood-cleated panelboard box or a heavy-duty screwed wooden box, suitable for forklift use. Marking and bar-coding must comply with MIL-STD-129R and ISO/IEC-16388-2007, Code 39 symbology, with markings facing the forklift operator. Failure to meet these packaging, packing, marking, and bar-coding requirements will result in rejection of the item. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item using simplified acquisition procedures. Award will be made on an all-or-none basis to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror. Brand name part is mandatory, but offers of "equal" products will be considered if they meet the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics. Companies must be registered in SAM.gov and provide their TIN with their offer. Quotes are due by June 23, 2026, at 10:00 am Eastern Standard Time.
