Description
The Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) Service Contracting Department intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) sole-source contract for the rental of two (2) Blolite Equipment Units. These units will be used to blow fiber throughout naval vessels. The rental includes the AC Unit, Blow Head, Tripod, 8 Fiber Inlet Guide, Payoff Case, 8mm Outlet Guide, and 4 Fiber Inlet Guide, which will ship in three cases. The contractor is responsible for repairing any breakdowns of the BloLite equipment and returning it to NNSY. NNSY will ensure trained personnel operate the system. Security requirements include obtaining a Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) card and adherence to policies regarding Portable Electronic Devices (PEDs). The period of performance is one year, from June 26, 2026, to June 25, 2027. Deliveries should be made to Building 276 at NNSY.
