Description
The Wareham Fire District is soliciting written quotes for repairs to the existing metal roof at Station Two, located at 2368 Cranberry Highway, West Wareham, MA 02576. The scope of services includes power washing and degreasing the roof surface, installing new pipe flanges, repairing a damaged roof panel and seam, applying a rust-inhibiting primer, installing seam flashing, applying a roof coating system, and installing approximately one square of rubber roofing at the tower area. The contractor will be responsible for removing and disposing of all construction debris. Contractors must comply with all applicable OSHA safety regulations and provide proof of General Liability Insurance, Workers' Compensation Insurance, and any other insurance required by Massachusetts law prior to commencing work. Labor rates are per MA Prevailing Wage. The work is to be completed in a professional and workmanlike manner. Contractors shall have a minimum of three years of experience performing commercial roofing repairs and roof coating projects of similar scope and complexity. The award will be made to the responsible and eligible contractor submitting the lowest responsive and responsible quote. Work shall commence within thirty days of award and be completed within sixty calendar days thereafter. A minimum one-year warranty on workmanship is required, along with any applicable manufacturer warranties. Written quotes are due by Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 1:00 PM and should be submitted via mail or email to Laurie Uva-Perry at 2550 Cranberry Highway, Wareham, MA 02571, or to luvaperry@warehamfiredistrict.org.
