Description
The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) is soliciting quotes for the complete replacement of existing roof systems on two residential properties: Augusta Cottage (P-86) and Ramapo House (P-91) at Sterling Forest State Park. The total roofing area is approximately 4,645 square feet. The scope of work includes the removal and disposal of old roofing materials, installation of new roof decking as needed, application of Grace Ice and Water Shield, replacement of rotten fascia with aluminum wrapping, installation of new drip edge, replacement of vents and flashing, installation of GAF UHD shingles (Barkwood) with specific nailing patterns, installation of GAF Cobra ridge vent, and installation of new seamless 6-inch gutters and leaders. Both properties require approximately 10 sheets of 3/4-inch CDX plywood for roof decking replacement and specific linear feet of fascia and gutter work. Augusta Cottage requires approximately 180 linear feet of drip edge and 105 linear feet of gutters, along with specific vent replacements. Ramapo House requires approximately 220 linear feet of drip edge and 167 linear feet of gutters, along with step and chimney flashing around two chimneys. Site visits are scheduled for Tuesday, June 9th, and Wednesday, June 10th, 2026, between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
