Description
Hall County, Georgia is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the complete roof replacement at the North Hall Community Center. The existing roof has active leaks and will require removal of all roofing and insulation materials. The replacement will involve installing new insulation and 60-mill TPO. The project requires contractors to be licensed, insured, and bonded in the State of Georgia. There are two mandatory on-site pre-bid meetings scheduled, and attendance at one is required to be eligible to submit a bid. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete the project, including a 5-year workmanship warranty and a 20-year manufacturer warranty. Proposals must include technical qualifications and a cost proposal. The award will be based on a combination of technical qualifications (80%) and cost (20%). The selected contractor must provide performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract's awarded dollar amount. Insurance requirements include General Liability, Commercial Auto Liability, and Umbrella Liability.
