Description
The City of Norfolk is soliciting bids for valve detector check stock items. The contract is for a period of five years, with estimated annual quantities for various AMES (model 100DCV) Brand Valve Detector Checks. These include 4-inch, 6-inch, 8-inch, and 10-inch models. Items will be ordered on an as-needed basis. Delivery is required within 6 weeks of notification, and all costs of shipping and handling are to be included in the unit price. All units must be free from manufacturer defects for a minimum of twelve months or the standard manufacturer warranty, whichever is longer. The solicitation also includes detailed terms and conditions, instructions to bidders, and various attachments related to compliance and ethics.
