Description
The Department of the Navy intends to award a sole-source Firm-Fixed-Price contract to the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) for re-accreditation services. This procurement will be conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, with an estimated total value of $149,640.00. The contract includes a base year (September 30, 2026 - September 29, 2027) and four option years. AIHA is identified as the sole source for these services, as per OPNAV Instruction 5100.23. Any responses must provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous, cost- or time-prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objectives of the Comprehensive Industrial Hygiene Laboratory (CIHL) at Navy Environmental and Preventive Medicine Unit 2.
