Description
The City of Norfolk, Department of Transportation, is soliciting bids for ADA Ramps Phase 6 (UPC 120910). This project involves the installation of 15 ADA-compliant curb ramps within the Ballentine Park Neighborhood. The scope of work includes traffic control, removal of existing curb ramps, and installation of new ones to meet ADA pedestrian accessibility standards. Prospective bidders must be pre-qualified with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) in accordance with Section 102.01 of VDOT's 2020 Road and Bridge Specifications. Information regarding VDOT prequalification can be found at http://www.virginiadot.org/business/const/prequal.asp. All Requests for Information (RFIs) must be submitted no later than Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 4:00 PM via the Questions portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/norfolk/projects/273358. Responses to RFIs submitted after this date cannot be guaranteed.
