Description
This solicitation is for the removal and replacement of an existing asphalt shingle roof system at 47 Old Farms Road, Poughkeepsie, NY. The contractor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work according to the provided scope of work and specifications. The project is a New York State Public Works project, requiring prevailing wages to be paid. The work must be completed within 45 days of award. The scope of work includes removing existing shingles down to the original decking, replacing decking and fascia as necessary, installing ice and water shield, underlayment, drip edge, flashing, pipe boots, exhaust vents, starter shingles, 30-year architectural shingles in 'Charcoal' color, and ridge and chimney flashing. High wind nailing patterns are required, and all shingles shall be installed with a minimum of four roofing nails. The contract includes a one-year warranty on workmanship. Bidders must have a minimum of 5 years of residential roofing experience. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for June 24th, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the project site. All estimates are due by July 10th, 2026.
