Description
The Seattle Convention Center seeks a contractor to provide armed, uniformed public safety officers for law-enforcement and traffic-control duties, as well as unarmed security officers, for events at its facilities. Staffing levels will be requested by the Center. Personnel must be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays, and within one hour of notice. The contractor must maintain a private security company license and provide personnel meeting specified licensing, peace-officer, training, and experience requirements. The scope also includes event-specific staffing, emergency response availability, and coordination with the Center’s security department. The proposal must include a Letter of Submittal, Certifications and Assurances form, Technical Proposal, Management Proposal, and Cost Proposal with hourly rates for general security and traffic-control services. The initial contract period is anticipated to begin on or about January 1, 2027, and end no later than December 31, 2030, with up to six additional one-year extensions. No bid, payment, or performance bonds are required.
