Description
Shared Services Canada is soliciting one contract for integrated security guard services at multiple facilities throughout the National Capital Region, including Ottawa, Ontario, and Gatineau, Quebec. The scope includes static guarding, access control, visitor management, security escorts, interior and exterior patrols, alarm monitoring and response, incident reporting, emergency support, reception and security desk functions, Security Operations Centre operations, CCTV and surveillance monitoring, identity and credential management, supervision, and contract management. The contractor must provide qualified personnel, supervision, uniforms, communications equipment, vehicles where required, and other operational resources. Personnel and the organization must meet Secret security requirements; certain positions also require bilingual capability, Canadian citizenship, valid security guard licences, first aid and CPR certification, driver’s licences, and use-of-force qualifications. The procurement seeks one initial two-year contract with five irrevocable one-year options and will be evaluated using technical merit, price, and Canadian value-added criteria.
