Description
Montgomery County Government, through the Montgomery County Department of Police Security Services Division, is soliciting a licensed security services firm to provide comprehensive uniformed security across more than 200 County-owned and County-leased facilities. The scope includes fixed-post security, access control and visitor screening, foot, vehicle, and bicycle patrols, event security, courthouse screening, command-center monitoring, alarm and CCTV monitoring, incident response, supervision, staffing, training, background checks, uniforms, vehicles, equipment, and supplies. The contractor must provide a fully integrated web- and mobile-based security management system with electronic incident reporting, real-time GPS watch-tour tracking, scheduling, alerts, and County administrative access. Proposals must include operational, staffing and training, quality-control, transition, experience, and pricing information, along with the required acknowledgment, references, MFD subcontractor performance plan, cost proposal, and Labor Peace Agreement attestation. The initial performance period is two years, with five one-year renewal options. A $750,000 performance bond is required after award, and extensive insurance coverage is required before contract execution.
