Description
The University of Washington seeks a vendor-hosted SaaS system to support its Human Subjects Division and Institutional Review Board. The solution must manage electronic human-research applications and review workflows, including internal, single-IRB, participating-site, and external-IRB pathways; modifications, renewals, closures, adverse-event reporting, meeting management, notifications, and regulatory determinations. It must also provide reporting, configurable workflows, integrations with institutional systems, data migration, and ongoing support. Proposals should describe the solution, relevant experience, integrations, security and privacy practices, accessibility conformance, implementation and migration plans, training, support and maintenance, and detailed implementation and annual licensing costs. Vendors must complete the provided response form against the functional and non-functional requirements. The solicitation also requests comparable implementation case studies and references, security and accessibility documentation, and a vendor primary contact. The incumbent system is Huron’s Zipline, which the University is evaluating for replacement.
