Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a certified service-disabled veteran-owned small business to remove one existing condenser and three air-handling units, then install a new six-ton Mitsubishi variable refrigerant flow condenser, branch box, five air-handling units, refrigerant line sets, electrical connections, and controls. The work includes refrigerant charging, startup, testing, commissioning, system balancing, operational verification, waste disposal, and documentation of the installed equipment. Four air-handling units will be 9,000 BTU units and one will be a 12,000 BTU unit. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, permits, licenses, and personal protective equipment. Work is scheduled during regular business hours, with normal work scheduled Friday through Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to midnight, and must comply with applicable OSHA, VA, safety, and hospital requirements. The contractor must use certified trained technicians, complete employee background checks, provide contractor identification, and submit a written work report within 10 working days after completion. The firm-fixed-price purchase order has a stated performance period from November 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026.
