Description
The State of Tennessee Treasury Department is soliciting one contractor to serve as its property and casualty insurance broker of record and captive insurance manager. The scope includes placing and maintaining traditional commercial policies for comprehensive fine arts, government crime with social engineering, aviation, and terrorism coverage; accessing commercial reinsurance markets for the State of Tennessee Captive Insurance Company's property, equipment breakdown/boiler and machinery, and cyber liability programs; and supporting future coverage lines added to the Captive. Required services also include policy analysis and renewal support, risk assessment, alternative risk financing review, claims advocacy, predictive catastrophe modeling, property and business-interruption valuations, flood analysis, risk-control surveys, emergency response and business-continuity planning, workers' compensation third-party-administrator performance audits, captive policy issuance, financial and regulatory reporting, corporate governance support, claims-data oversight, and up to 500 hours annually of professional risk-management consulting. The contract is scheduled for a 36-month term beginning March 1, 2027, with a possible extension of up to 24 additional months. Responses must include separate technical and cost proposals, with the technical response excluding pricing information.
