Description
The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority is soliciting bids for construction modifications to an existing airport deicing and stormwater conveyance system. The work includes sewer installation, pump replacements, electrical and communications installation, and demolition of equipment formerly used to treat glycol-contaminated stormwater runoff. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, tools, plant, equipment, and incidentals, and comply with applicable state, local, and federal requirements, including Tennessee contractor licensing requirements. Bids must be submitted on the provided Bid Form through the B2GNow E-Bidding system, with Prime/Subcontractor License Information included if applicable. A bid guaranty of at least 5% of the aggregate bid is required and may be provided as an irrevocable bank letter of credit, cashier's check, certified check from a state or local bank, or bid bond with good corporate surety. The apparent award criterion is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting the stated small-business certification requirement. The project is expected to commence in November 2026 and be completed within the calendar period specified in the contract documents.
