Description
The State of Tennessee Department of General Services, through its Real Estate and Asset Management division, is seeking a contractor to provide and install a continuous acoustic and/or vibration monitoring system for the 18-story James K. Polk Building. The system must monitor structural components for acoustic anomalies and unusual floor vibrations, identify anomaly sources within a five-foot radius of sensors, operate independently of the State network using offsite communications, and notify the State of anomalies within five minutes. The scope includes assembly, deployment, testing, onsite installation support, data collection, weekly reporting, maintenance, software updates, hardware repairs, and operational and maintenance documentation. The system must provide at least 99.99% uptime, include a minimum 60-month warranty, and support monitoring and reporting for at least 60 months. The contract has a 36-month base term with two 12-month renewal options. Responses are submitted through the State's Edison supplier system, with a pre-response conference on October 16, 2026, and written questions due October 22, 2026.
