Description
The City of Wichita is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide food truck operations, alcoholic beverage sales, or both during the 2027 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Fan Fest at Naftzger Park on March 16–17, 2027. The City anticipates selecting up to six licensed food truck vendors and one licensed alcohol vendor. Food trucks must operate from properly licensed mobile food units; the alcohol vendor will have exclusive rights to sell alcoholic beverages and must provide service areas, equipment, supplies, and security personnel for designated entrances and exits. Proposals must identify the proposed service category, menu or beverage offerings and customer pricing, event enhancements, flat fee offered to the City, comparable event experience, staffing and service capacity, inventory and restocking plans, equipment and utility requirements, applicable licenses and issuing authorities, recent health or licensing violations, insurance proof, and other proposed enhancements. Vendors are responsible for complying with applicable laws, licenses, permits, health and safety requirements, event logistics, cleanup, and continuous operation during the designated event hours. The contract term runs from execution through the conclusion of the event, with no guaranteed attendance, sales, revenue, or minimum business volume.
