Description
The Incorporated Village of Port Jefferson seeks a qualified person or firm to operate the refreshments concession at the Village Center, 101-A East Broadway, during the 2026–2027 winter season. The concessionaire must furnish management, labor, supervision, food, beverages, supplies, utensils, approved equipment, transportation, point-of-sale capability, licenses, cleaning, and other incidentals necessary for operations. Proposed offerings may include nonalcoholic beverages, packaged snacks, baked goods, prepared foods, and other approved refreshments; tobacco, vaping, cannabis, and unlawful products are prohibited, and alcohol requires separate authorization and licensing. The scope includes menu and pricing development, staffing, customer service, food safety and sanitation, inventory and deliveries, equipment and utilities, cash handling and sales reporting, waste and grease disposal, signage, and closeout. Proposers must submit a signed proposal form, proposer information and qualifications, menu and prices, operating plan, equipment list, licenses or a plan to obtain them, at least three references for similar operations completed or managed within the last five years, a financial proposal, insurance and indemnification acknowledgment, and any exceptions or assumptions. The selected concessionaire must obtain required permits, certifications, insurance, and approvals before beginning operations.
