Description
The U.S. Air Force is soliciting up to seven firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts, with up to three additional on-ramp vendors, for construction projects at McConnell Air Force Base. The contract has a not-to-exceed value of $99,000,000 or a maximum term of six years, whichever occurs first. Individual task orders are expected to range from $2,000 to $10,000,000 and will be competed among contract awardees. The scope includes design-build services; renovations, additions, upgrades, and new construction involving multiple trades; roadway, taxiway, and runway repair or replacement; and full project delivery from concept or performance-oriented statement of work through completion. Contractors must provide all required design, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and ancillary items. A seed project involves foundation repairs at Buildings 1099 and 412. The opportunity is a total small-business set-aside under NAICS 236220, with award based on a best-value tradeoff in which past performance is significantly more important than price.
