Description
The City of Vandalia is soliciting proposals for a complete snack and beverage vending program at the Vandalia Recreation Center. The selected vendor must provide one commercial-grade snack machine and one beverage machine, including equipment, installation, cashless payment capability, product stocking, product rotation, maintenance, repairs, cleaning, customer service, refunds, reporting, commission payments, licensing, permits, and labor. The product mix must include bottled water, sports drinks, non-carbonated beverages, traditional snacks, and healthier options, with at least 25% of machine selections being healthier choices when commercially available. Proposals must include product lists, package sizes, pricing, proposed commissions or revenue share, service and stocking schedules, response times, refund procedures, reporting and payment terms, installation timing, qualifications, at least one similar current-year reference, insurance and compliance information, exceptions, and supporting appendices. The anticipated term is three years, with two additional one-year renewals available by mutual written agreement.
