Description
The City of Wichita is soliciting bids for professional and technical services to test, inspect, certify, repair, and modify fire sprinkler and related fire protection systems at numerous municipal facilities, including libraries, parking garages, public safety facilities, museums, airport buildings, and other city properties. The scope includes wet, dry, pre-action, standpipe, fire pump, clean-agent, backflow prevention, check-valve, and yard-hydrant systems, as applicable by location. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, permits, licensing, and fees; perform inspections in accordance with NFPA 20, NFPA 25, and applicable City of Wichita code requirements; provide deficiency reports, repair/rebuild quotations, certification documentation, and update the Fire Compliance Engine. Bidders must be Wichita-licensed fire protection contractors, meet the stated qualification requirements, provide proof of licensing with the bid, and price all listed locations and options. The contract is for one year with two one-year renewal options, by mutual agreement.
