Description
Sedgwick County is procuring two one-ton, four-wheel-drive standard-cab trucks with steel service bodies for its Fleet Department. Required equipment includes a gas V-8 engine, automatic transmission with overdrive, power four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, Class V receiver hitch with seven-way plug, all-season or all-terrain tires, powered mirrors, factory-installed climate control, AM/FM radio, white exterior, gray vinyl or cloth seats without carpet, power locks and windows, three sets of keys with keyless-entry remotes, and a 48- to 54-inch Whelen amber light bar mounted to the service-body headache rack. Each service body must include outriggers, a passenger-side Liftmoore 3612REE DC power crane, a driver-side 30-gallon 200-psi compressor, interior hose reels with 3/8-inch and 1/2-inch hoses, bottle mounts for OX80 and AC3 bottles, and a rear-bumper-mounted six-inch-jaw Wilton vise. Pricing must be delivered, and bidders must identify any exceptions. The response must include the completed and signed bid response form, proof of insurance, and clearly identified exclusions; maintenance manuals will be invoiced separately and warranty information must be provided. The successful bidder must arrange delivery and inspection at Fleet Management before ownership is accepted and provide the Manufacturer's Statement of Origin.
