Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is soliciting bids for one or more license agreements to operate a modern, mobile food truck providing shaved ice concessions at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park. The operator may also provide catering, canteen, convenience foods, beverages excluding alcohol, and related retail services for park events and the general public. The successful bidder must provide the food truck or vehicle, inventory, staffing, self-contained power, water, waste management, accessible service arrangements, tablet-based credit-card payment capability, employee background screenings, required health and operating licenses, and applicable permits. The bidder must submit pricing as a percentage of gross receipts and/or a flat monthly rental fee, with a minimum acceptable bid of 10% of gross receipts, plus a $100 bid deposit and a summary of relevant past experience. The license has an initial one-year term with five additional one-year renewal options, subject to a June 30, 2031 maximum term.
