Description
Bloomfield Township Public Library is soliciting a vendor to provide, install, stock, service, repair, clean, and maintain seven vending machines: three in the staff lounge and four in public areas. The equipment must include cold-beverage, hot-beverage, packaged-snack, and fresh-food vending capabilities, including a countertop hot-beverage machine. Fresh offerings may include sandwiches, salads, and similar foods suitable for cold consumption, with the vendor responsible for refrigeration, stocking, product rotation, and removal of expired products. Machines must accept credit and debit cards and mobile payments, display pricing and any surcharges, remain adequately stocked through at least twice-weekly checks, and include customer-service information. The vendor must handle complaints and refunds, provide prompt maintenance and repairs, pay the Library a quarterly sales commission, and provide machine-level sales reports. Proposals must address company background, references, commission and reporting, stocking and service procedures, product offerings, equipment cutsheets and specifications, energy efficiency, payment capabilities, and any recommended improvements. Installation and operation are required by late January 2027, coordinated with the Library renovation schedule.
