Description
The City of Mentor is soliciting sealed bids for renovation of the Mentor Senior Center HVAC system at 8484 Munson Road. The work includes HVAC demolition and installation, VAV boxes with hot-water reheat coils, make-up air and kitchen exhaust equipment, ductwork, piping, insulation, controls, electrical work, kitchen hood connections, and related general-trades work. The project drawings and specifications also require coordination, testing, balancing, cleanup, and restoration. The estimated construction cost is $589,500, and all work must be completed by September 3, 2027. The project is subject to Ohio prevailing-wage requirements. Bidders must submit the City's bid forms and supporting qualifications, experience, subcontractor, insurance-agent, bid-security, and non-collusion documentation. A bid security equal to 10% of the proposal is required, and the successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds in the contract amount.
