Description

The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District is soliciting bids for a three-year requirement contract to supply a broad range of industrial, specialty, analytical, and ultra-high-purity gases in various cylinder sizes and volumes. The scope includes stocking and supplying gases such as acetylene, argon, helium, nitrogen, oxygen, propane, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide standards, breathing air, zero air, tri-mix, and ICP-grade liquid argon. The contractor must deliver filled cylinders, collect empties, maintain cylinders, dispose of unserviceable cylinders, provide certificates of analysis with deliveries, and make emergency deliveries within four hours when needed. The contractor must also install and lease a 1,500-liter microbulk storage tank and telemetry system for ICP-grade liquid argon at the laboratory, including piping, regulators, initial product fill, remote usage monitoring, and ongoing refills. Deliveries and services will support multiple wastewater treatment plants, the Environmental & Maintenance Services Center, fleet services, laboratory operations, and other District departments. The contract term is three years or until appropriated funds are exhausted, whichever occurs first. The resolution authorizing the procurement identifies an estimated probable cost of $250,000.
