Description
Harmony Public Schools is soliciting competitive sealed proposals to furnish and install permanent exterior canopies at Harmony School of Fine Arts and Technology, Harmony School of Ingenuity-Houston, and Harmony Science Academy Sugar Land. The scope includes project supervision, site verification and layout, demolition, earthwork, concrete foundations and sidewalks, structural framing, steel roof decking, cold-formed metal framing, premanufactured aluminum canopies, roofing, drainage, anchoring, material testing, inspections, permitting, cleanup, and associated labor. Proposers must provide separate pricing by campus. Addendum 1 clarifies that the owner will not disclose a construction budget; proposers must price the work based on their independent evaluation. The approved drawings control, with no substitutions permitted where stated, and the selected contractor must submit approved stamped shop drawings for structural details. The proposal package requires the listed checklist, proposal, campus pricing, experience and performance information, safety records, vendor packet, resumes, financial documents, proposal forms, and CHRI certification. Payment and performance bonds, insurance, licensing, qualification, reference, and certification information are also required as specified in the solicitation.
