Description
Travis County Healthcare District dba Central Health seeks a qualified organization to operate recurring mobile and/or pop-up fresh food markets at Central Health locations and other approved community sites in Travis County. Services include affordable fresh foods, reliable market operations, SNAP/EBT acceptance, nutrition incentives, SNAP education and application assistance or referral pathways, bilingual customer support, local and regional sourcing, outreach, and strategies addressing transportation, mobility, disability, scheduling, geographic, and technology barriers. The contractor must provide personnel, vehicles, equipment, point-of-sale technology, market setup and breakdown, signage, waste removal, food-safety compliance, contingency procedures, and data reporting. Required proposal materials include a letter of transmittal, responses to narrative prompts, the pricing sheet, food-safety certifications, acknowledgment form, Business Development Form, and Insurance Coverage Form. The initial contract term is one year with four optional one-year renewal periods.
