Description
The City of Austin is seeking contractors to provide education, cleanup, beautification, restoration, and environmental stewardship services for Austin Resource Recovery and the Austin Watershed Department. The scope includes neighborhood and community cleanups, large-scale volunteer cleanup events, street stewardship, Lady Bird Lake cleanup and shoreline stewardship, creek restoration, invasive-plant management, native planting, volunteer recruitment and training, youth environmental education, school and community outreach, event recycling, and an online registration system. Offerors must demonstrate at least five years of experience providing similar services and provide at least three Texas commercial references. The proposal must address the project concept and approach, success evaluation, personnel and qualifications, comparable municipal experience, sample work products, and pricing. The contract has an initial 12-month term with up to four additional 12-month extensions at the City's option. Services require substantial in-person event, field, school, and community work, along with recurring reports, work plans, surveys, and program evaluations.
