Description
The City of Austin is seeking a contractor to provide approximately 30,000 gallons of CSS-1H asphalt emulsion for general street maintenance and a full-depth recycling pilot project. The material must meet the City's applicable asphalt, oil, and emulsion specifications and may be subject to laboratory testing; nonconforming material will be rejected without payment. The price sheet requires pricing for CSS-1H loaded onto City trucks, with a separate delivery-fee line. Pricing must include discounts, handling, shipping, and FOB destination costs. The contractor must maintain an all-weather facility, provide pumping facilities for City-truck pickup, and deliver within three calendar days when delivery is requested. The offer must include the completed price sheet, signed offer sheet, certified documentation that the material meets specifications, and Safety Data Sheets for the product. An exact product sample may also be requested after submission.
